We just got Ruby, our Australian Shepherd, last Saturday; she’s 10 months old. We’ve been trying to figure out what motivates her and how to focus her energy. She didn’t seem interested in too many things. It was hard to get her into a play mode.
Today Wendy picked up a squeaky toy for her. She seemed interested in it but not too awfully excited. Once I started squeaking it and not letting her get to it, she became very excited to have it. That’s when we sent Corbin running with the toy and squeaking it.
